Recently, the Argentine superstar officially broke the record of former teammate Dani Alves (43 titles) when he and Inter Miami lifted the North-Central American Federation Cup championship.

Messi’s trophy collection includes 35 titles with Barcelona, 5 titles at all levels of the Argentina team, 3 titles with PSG and 1 with Inter Miami.

Messi’s record will be very difficult to break, because the person behind him, Dani Alves, is in prison. The Brazilian defender’s ability to return to the field is very low, because he is also 40 years old this year.

However, Alves’ career was almost perfect, when he won 5 titles in 6 years with Sevilla, then 23 trophies with Barcelona.

When he reached the other side of his career, the star born in 1983 still achieved success, winning 2 titles with Juventus, 6 titles with PSG and 1 title with Sao Paulo.

At the team level, Alves has won the Copa America twice, lifted the Confederation Cup once as well as the Olympic men’s soccer gold medal. The FIFA World Cup is the only title missing from the collection of the veteran born in 1983.

Ranked 3rd in the top players with the most titles in history are the duo Maxwell and Andres Iniesta with the same 37 trophies. After winning 34 titles with Barca, Iniesta went to Japan and added to his collection of 3 trophies with Vissel Kobe Club.

Fourth place belongs to Ryan Giggs (36 titles). The Welsh legend spent his entire career with Man Untied and with this club won the English Premier League 13 times, along with 2 Champions League titles and many other noble titles.

With 35 trophies, Cristiano Ronaldo ranks 5th with Gerrard Pique and Kenny Daglish. At the age of 38, CR7 is still playing persistently and aims to conquer all titles with Al Nassr in the 2023/24 season, including the Asian Champions League championship. Earlier in the season, Ronaldo won his first title in Saudi Arabia, winning the Club Champions Cup.
