Thor star Chris Hemsworth turns 39 years old today, (August 11).
The Australian actor, who appeared in Marvel’s latest film Thor: Love and Thunder, will be celebrating his last birthday in his thirties.
The actor has recently been linked with playing wrestling icon Hulk Hogan in a biopic, although Hemsworth has said the film is “a while away from happening”.
Chris boasts a long list of iconic roles, both in action franchises and comedic performances, such as the Ghostbusters re-boot with Kristen Wiig.

Who is Chris Hemsworth’s wife?
Chris Hemsworth is married to Spanish model and actress Elsa Pataky.
Elsa has appeared in regularly in the Fast And Furious franchise, playing Elena in Fast And Furious 5, 6 and 7.
Pataky also starred in the iconic movie Snakes On A Plane.
Chris and Elsa have starred in films together too, both playing roles in the 2018 film 12 sSrong and the new Thor film – Thor: Love and Thunder, in which Pataky had a small cameo as Wolf Woman.
The husband and wife posed together at the premiere, as Elsa shared a photo to her 5.1m followers on Instagram.
How did Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky meet?
It appears as if the pair fell in love pretty instantly, as they got engaged less than a year after meeting.
The couple met back in 2010, having been introduced by a mutual friend and talent agent. By December that year Chris and Elsa were married.
Two years after tying the knot, in May 2012, their first baby was born, and by November 2013, the pair announced they were expecting another.
Chris and Elsa now have three children together, with Hemsworth expressing his desire to be at home with his children more.
Speaking to the Telegraph, he said: “They are at a very important age. They are still young and they are aware when I leave more than before.”
Twelve years later, having lived in Los Angeles for most of their relationship, Chris and Elsa moved Down Under to Sydney.
The pair have also bought a beautiful beachside pad in Byron Bay, where Chris is celebrating his 39th birthday with friends and family.
