We all know Chris Hemsworth is one of the biggest names in the business and now his star power has officially been recognised by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce Walk of Fame Selection Committee.
The 35-year-old is going to get his very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Chris will join the likes of Julia Roberts, Spike Lee, Cindy Crawford and 30 other famous names in the latest batch to be added to the world-famous Boulevard.
The Hollywood Walk of Fame stretches along 15 blocks of Hollywood Boulevard and three blocks of Vine Street in Hollywood, Los Angeles.
The ceremonies to unveil the stars usually see the celebrity and their families attend alongside other member of the industry who have worked with them.
We can only hope there’s going to be a mini Avengers reunion for Chris’ big day.
Chris is most famous for his role as superhero Thor in the Avengers franchise but he has also starred in hit films such as Star Trek, The Cabin in the Woods, Rush and Snow White and the Huntsman.
It’s even more impressive when you consider the fact his career began on the Australia soap, Home and Away.
While Chris has become one of Hollywood’s most bankable stars, he’s not having the best success with his latest release
The actor has become one of films highest paid stars thanks to the fact his films usually bring in up to £1 billion but it doesn’t look like Men In Black: International will be part of that list.
The film hasn’t fared well at the box office, with a global taking of £82.6 million ($103.7 million).
