It sounds like Chris Hemsworth enjoyed his time making working with director George Miller on the upcoming film Mad Max: Furiosa. In fact, during a recent interview with GQ, the actor shared that while he entered the shoot “exhausted” due to his insane schedule, working on the movie became the “best experience” of his career. He explained:

“Week one of rehearsals with [Miller], all of a sudden it was this reigniting of my creative energy. By far the best experience of my career, and something I feel the most proud of. It made me think, the work isn’t what’s exhausting, it’s what kind of work it is, and how invested I am in it and if it is challenging in the right ways.”

It’s great to hear that he had such a good time making that movie! Usually with these films, the actors talk about how grueling it is. Anya Taylor-Joy, who plays Imperator Furiosa in the film, also had a great experience making the film saying that it was “life-changing.” She previously said:

“It will take me the full two years before the movie comes out to even begin to process what I just left 12 days ago. [Furiosa] was the most life-changing experience that I’ve ever had, with such talented artists. I really felt like I grew so much, but yes, it’s wild. It’s utterly unique.”

I’m super excited for Furiosa, and I have a feeling Miller is going to deliver another epic action-packed masterpiece.

In the film, “As the world fell, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus. Sweeping through the Wasteland they come across the Citadel presided over by The Immortan Joe. While the two Tyrants war for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she puts together the means to find her way home.”

Hemsworth stars as the villainous Warlord Dementus. Hemsworth looked unrecognizable on set as he sported long hair, nose prosthetics, and a beard. The rest of the cast includes Tom Burke, Angus Sampson, Nathan Jones, Daniel Webber, Lachy Hulme, and Quaden Bayles.
