Aaron Rodgers has unveiled the elaborate John Wick costume he donned to celebrate Halloween that he had in the works for a year, growing out his hair to look like the cinematic hitman played by Keanu Reeves.
The Green Bay Packers quarterback, 37, was clad in an all-black suit with tie that the titular character has worn in the action film trilogy, with blood marks on his face and a weapon in hand.
On Saturday, he posted a side-by-side shot of himself as Reeves embracing a Pitbull, tagging Packers teammate David Bakhtiari into the post

He captioned the shot ‘Boogeyman,’ a reference to the film character’s nickname.
In a separate series of shots he uploaded Sunday, Rodgers was seen posing like Reeves’ character, also comparing side by side shots of himself and the leading man.
Rodgers captioned the shot: ‘I’m thinking I’m back… Para Bellum. #theboogeyman @johnwickmovie.’
Rodgers received plaudits from many of his Green Bay teammates in the comment section, including Bakhtiari, Tom Crabtree and Aaron Jones.

Rodgers was able to celebrate the festive occasion on what normally would be a Sunday on the football field, after leading his team to a win over the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday Night Football.
Last month, Rodgers teased the outfit by saying on The Pat McAfee Show he would be going as ‘a hero of mine who has long-ish hair.’

Reeves has played the titular role of John Wick in 2014’s John Wick, 2017’s John Wick: Chapter 2, 2019’s John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum and next year’s upcoming John Wick: Chapter 4.
