He’s got back to back movies lined up but this week Chris Hemsworth has taken some time out of his busy schedule to enjoy an Italian getaway with his wife Elsa Pataky.

The Hollywood hunk and his gorgeous wife were spotted tucking into pizza before heading out on a boat trip with a group of friends in the picturesque Portofino harbour on Wednesday.

Chris, coordinated with Spanish model and actress Elsa,  in white as they cosied up in the scorching temperatures.

Thor star Chris looked dapper in a loose white shirt, shorts and trilby-style hat as he enjoyed his holiday.

Elsa meanwhile showed off her stunning figure in a strapless sun dress teamed with a wide-brimmed hat and dark shades.

The blonde draped an arm around her hunky husband as they took in the stunning scenery on board a boat.

The couple were joined by friends for their trip, with the group seen enjoying a meal and drinks at a harbourside restaurant.

Chris is making the most of some time off from his busy schedule, with the in-demand actor spending time working in Europe over the past few weeks for his lead role in The Huntsman, a sequel to 2012’s Snow White And The Huntsman.

The actor, who shares three children with Elsa, one-year-old twins Sasha and Tristan, and daughter India, three, is also gearing up to shoot scenes for the hugely anticipated Ghostbusters reboot.

Director Paul Feig announced the cast news on Twitter last month, sharing a photo of the Australian star under the caption ‘Our receptionist, adding the hash-tag ‘who you gonna call’.

Chris joins Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones in the female-led movie, which hits cinemas next year.

The cast have already begun shooting, although so far Chris hasn’t been spotted on set.

Insiders have told Variety that Feig and his team approached the actor very early on in the process for a major male role.

The Aussie star reportedly passed on the initial part because it was too small, according to the report, with Sony so keen to sign up the star that they reworked the script so the role was beefed up for Chris.
